Welcome to my website!

My name is Shikun (Barry) Ke. I am an assistant professor of finance at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. My research interests lie in asset pricing and behavioral finance, with a particular focus on applying machine learning and textual analysis methods to financial and economic research. 

Before Maryland, I received a PhD in financial economics from the Yale School of Management. I hold a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University and previously worked as a quantitative research analyst at AQR Capital Management.
